About The Troop

The Troop Disc Golf Club formed in North Central Ohio during Spring of 2021. The main reasons behind the club’s formation is to promote the sport of disc golf locally, further the growth of a positive social community, and to be a positive influence locally by fostering healthy relationships with residents and businesses. The area The Troop operates in has a handful of great courses and a growing, positive disc golf community. With 2021 being the club’s first year, there is a lot of focus on fundraising with membership and sponsorship drives. The success of these will allow for course maintenance and improvements, annual club events, disc golf educational opportunities, and greater means to be a positive influence within local communities.

The Troop at its foundation is an inclusive and positive social community of like-minded individuals who enjoy getting outdoors and playing disc golf. Members enjoy multiple friendly yet competitive league nights that are structured to give anyone a fair shot at walking away a winner. Ultimately, the common mindset is that disc golf is a great opportunity to be active, social, and have fun. The Troop Disc Golf Club is focused on sharing that opportunity with everyone.
